Model and social media influencer Chrissy Teigen joined numerous celebrities who are chipping in to pay bail for people arrested during mass protests over police brutality and racial injustice. Teigen then launched a vulgar Twitter attack on someone who accused her of encouraging violence by making the donation.
Teigen recently announced on Twitter that she would give $100,000 to help pay bail for arrested protestors, jumping on a bandwagon that includes dozens of other celebrities who publicly declared their intentions to donate to the same cause. She later said she was raising the amount to $200,000.
People on Twitter were quick to accuse Teigen of encouraging violence by paying bail for rioters and looters, to which Teigen responded that the bail was for “arrested peaceful protestors. But you can’t jerk off in anger to that. You wanna cum so bad.”
She then added, “Over 300 people in LA arrested last night who were not involved in looting of any kind. Some just for refusal to move. But you wanna cum anger so bad. Incel.”
The protests were sparked by the death of an unarmed black man, George Floyd, who died while in police custody after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for more than 8 minutes, despite pleas from Floyd that he could not breathe. Some of the protests, which have now spread across the nation and world, have devolved into violent rioting and looting.
By making the distinction between the groups, Teigen acknowledges that peaceful protestors should not be lumped together with violent rioters and looters. It’s a sharp reversal from the way Teigen and the left-leaning media reacted to President Trump’s comments about the 2017 Charlottesville protest, in which he referred to some (but not all) of the protestors as “fine people.”
For more than two years, the media, democrats, and Hollywood celebrities were quick to conflate the various groups in attendance at the protest, and dishonestly accused president Trump of calling neo-Nazis and white nationalists in Charlottesville “fine people” during a press conference. (He didn’t.)
At that time, Teigen tweeted that, “Trump is like, actually racist. He isn’t ‘saying the wrong thing’. He is actually racist and means this. Holy shit lol what a fucking idiot.”
Former vice president and presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden has repeatedly asserted this lie as well, even listing it as one of the reasons he decided to run for president.
However, President Trump never said that. Dilbert cartoonist and author Scott Adams has repeatedly debunked this as the “Charlottesville Hoax.” In a blog post, he painstakingly goes through the transcript, showing the President Trump explicitly distinguished between the groups and said, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists” and that they should be “condemned totally.”

The press created the hoax by consistently and intentionally omitting the second half of President Trump’s comments about Charlottesville. If you only see or hear the first half of what the president said, it looks exactly like the president is calling neo-Nazis “fine people.” But in the second part of Trump’s comments, he clarified, “You had people in that group who were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of the park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”
In other words, the president believed there were non-racists in attendance who support keeping historical monuments. To remove all doubt, the President continued with “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?”
