There’s no need to wonder anymore whether Hollywood is dominated by liberals who despise conservatives. They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.
Case in point: “Superbad” actor Seth Rogen recently told Republican Sen. Ted Cruz that “Everyone who made [Disney’s “Fantasia”] would hate you.” Cruz, an accomplished lawyer who has argued in front of the Supreme Court multiple times, decided to engage by pointing out that Walt Disney was a Republican.

Then “The Princess Bride” actor Cary Elwes decided to launch his own unprovoked Twitter attack on the Texas senator. And once again, Cruz demonstrated he’s got a sharper wit.
“How does it feel to know that not only the entire cast and crew of your favorite movie The Princess Bride, but almost the whole entertainment industry, have nothing but rabid contempt for you?” Elwes asked Cruz on Twitter.
He also called Cruz a “miserable ROUS,” a reference from the 1987 movie meaning Rodent of Unusual Size.
Cruz responded by sharing a picture that Elwes signed for Cruz and asking, “Does this mean you want your picture back?”
In September, Cruz expressed his disappointment that the classic movie was tainted by politics when several “Princess Bride” cast members reunited for a live streamed script reading to raise money for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
He wrote on Twitter: “Do you hear that Fezzik? That is the sound of ultimate suffering. My heart made that sound when the six-fingered man killed my father. Every Princess Bride fan who wants to see that perfect movie preserved from Hollywood politics makes it now.”
Cary Elwes is an actor most well-known for his roles in “The Princess Bride” and “Robin Hood: Men In Tights.” He recently had a stint acting on Stranger Things.
