Sean “Diddy” Combs warned of a possible race war if President Trump is re-elected.

The rapper and hip-hop mogul also called himself a black nationalist and said that violence has to be an option in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, which was posted to YouTube Oct. 16. In the video for Revolt TV, Combs explained why he decided to endorse Joe Biden for president despite previously threatening to hold the vote hostage, and he announced the creation of a new black political party.

Warns of impending race war

“If Trump gets elected, I really do believe in my heart there will be a race war and that’s why… this message is not just to black people, you know what I’m saying? This message is to everybody,” Combs said. “This man is really trying to turn us against each other and put us in a situation. America messed up. They flooded the hood with guns.”

Combs also said that if the country votes Trump out of office, it will give time for time for unity and love to gain momentum, but “If Trump’s in office there’s gonna be bloodshed.”

“The tribe of people that have the responsibility, and really should be scared to death of this man, is white people,” Combs said. When asked by Charlamagne Tha God to explain, Combs elaborated by saying, “we’re not standing by no more getting killed,” and “we’re on the verge of a race war.”

He also said that if black people do not stop getting killed, then “violence has to be an option.”

The later tweeted a similar sentiment:

The NUMBER ONE priority is to get Trump out of office. HE HAS TO GO. We can’t allow this man to continue to try and DIVIDE US. The people that have the most responsibility and should be SCARED TO DEATH of this man are white people. WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF A RACE WAR.

Combs launches new political party, but will still support Biden for president

In the interview with Charlamagne the God, Combs said that the black community has been taken for granted by Democrats and that they did not get enough in return for supporting the party.

“I played the game with the Democratic party. The people that I went and campaigned for, after they got elected, I don’t feel like they really did anything to change the reality of black people,” he said.

He also said that black people can’t just keep voting for Democrats without getting anything in return: “You can’t keep on giving your power away for free.”

In April, Combs said that he would “hold the vote hostage” so that Democrats would not take black voters for granted, but he has since decided to support Biden since he is the only viable option to defeat Trump in the 2020 election.

“I can’t say I love the pick either, but hey, we gotta get him in office, and then we gotta hold him accountable,” Combs said. He added that he felt a little bit better seeing that Biden picked a black woman for his vice presidential running mate.

Although he is supporting Biden for president, Combs is also launching a new black political party named “Our Black Party.” He said that the number one goal is to “unify behind a black agenda” and that black people must seize political power.

He also explained why he was creating a party specifically oriented toward helping black people, rather than all people of color: “I’m a black nationalist. I’m unapologetically black. I have to take care of the tribe first,” he said. “I love everybody, but right now I’ve got to make moves and use my power for the advancement of black people, because we last.”

Combs said that the party is open to anyone who would like to join.

Combs also said that people can learn more about how to get involved at www.ourblackparty.org
