He may be known as King James on the court, but Colby Covington has a different idea about Lebron James. And by the looks of it and Colby’s Twitter feed, Colby will be having none of it.
Covington posted on Twitter Monday the @KingJames couldn’t “last 10 seconds with me.”
This latest Twitter feud among the super stars in their own respective arenas seems to have stemmed from several NBA players taking a shot at Covington on social media for his reference to James as a “spineless coward” after his fight with Tyron Woodley.
Covington is a well-known supporter of Trump and an ardent supporter of first responders. In-fact Covington dedicated his fight to all the first responders and referenced the “woke athletes.” Apparently this didn’t sit well with many NBA players around the league.
Although James has yet to respond personally, one has to wonder what that match would look like. LeBron after all is 6’9” and weighs in at 250 lbs. Colby is 5’11” and weighs 170 lbs. And with all due respect to Colby Covington, one has to imagine that with Lebron’s reported 7’ wingspan, he should be able to last at least 10 seconds or so. Either way, I’ll buy a ticket, it would be great for the charity of their choice.
